Moving day Coffee and Conversation welcomes anyone to drop in for a free tea/coffee and chat. It’s an opportunity to meet new people. Please pop in if you can. The first cup of tea/coffee is free. If you fancy a second one, we invite a small donation. With effect from this January it moved from Monday to Friday. This will allow our minister Rev Ben Haslam to come along when he can. We serve Fairtrade tea/coffee from 10.30 am onwards till 12.00 noon. The first Friday session is on 4th January.
House Fellowship meets in various homes on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at 7.30 pm from late September to May. It is open to all. A variety of topics are covered both spiritual and secular. It is open to all and you are invited to come along and try it out when the time comes whether you are a member of our Sunday congregation or not. If you are interested in finding out more, please email us. During the summer months it is replaced by monthly evening walks.
More wool wanted! Our knitters are continuing to knit squares to make into blankets. The last set of blankets went to Moldova, Europe’s poorest country. If you have any spare wool, it will be most welcome. Wool can be brought during service times or on Monday mornings when we are open for free coffee/tea or email firstname.lastname@example.org Would you like to help with the knitting? We will try to supply the wool.
Exeter Foodbank welcomes donations of in-date, non-perishable food items. Food for the bank can be brought on Friday mornings when the hall is open for tea/coffee between 10.30 am and 12.00 noon or on Sundays during service times.
